The rich go to good schools/ the poor remain good fools/
While in school they compete who is more beautiful/
Instead of getting their brains full/
With some knowledge, education something more meaningful/
The rich live in big houses that don’t make sense/
While the poor live in make up tents/
Coz the work they do pays them almost cents./
On the richer side of the fence/ smells nice of incense/
While on the poor side their presence/ is regarded as a nuisance/
So tell me is being poor an offence?/
The rich throw money in big bets/ sleep in unnecessarily big beds/
Yet the poor have no place to lay their heads/
They don’t know the meaning of daily bread/
Coz the next meal they may have is on their death beds/
To help them prolong their last breath./
The poor live in what they have/ the rich leave them as they starve/
While they serve/ to waste and leave plenty in surplus/ “sir please,”/
The maid asks on her bended knees/ if she could take the excess to her starving niece/
“can I have a pay increase?”/she seeks/ for enough to feed her kids/
Coz they are hungry and their stomach’s squeeze./
Ask me why I shouldn’t be mad/ at people who buy cars as a fad/
While the poor have no shoes and they walk to work everyday till their feet hurt so bad/
Its so sad/ that the rich throw out the tiny things that the poor need but never had/
Why do you make your hearts so hard?/
