CHURCH IS

Church is not about swagger and sways/

Nor arrogant ways/ expensive clothes, deo, cologne sprays/

Church is not about how high your voice you can raise/

Church is about listening to what God says/

Worship and praise/ how a person prays/

Church is simple, where God stays/

Church is about God, not you/

Somewhere you go in and come out new/

Through/ the holy spirit so true/

Where one or two/ amongst them the spirit is due/

Believed by a few/ He can what no man can do/

Church as in heaven should be on earth/

Church is where God stays, in my heart/

Church is where I find joy when am hurt/

Where all evil is unearthed/ where we go for rebirth/

Where we turn back/ when stuck/

Where we go to and never lack/

Coz church is where God stays, in my heart/

Church will forever last/ doesn’t promote lust/

Church is where you go put God first and you last/

Church is where you are not judged by your past/

You are not judged at all in fact/ where you go to quench your life’s thirst/

Church doesn’t discriminate, its vast/

Church is where you run to when your heart is heavy about to burst/

To pray for strength when everything seems like from dust to dust/

Coz church is where God stays, come in and have a blast/

Church is where you go and get blessed/

No prayer is a waste/ where you go when under the test/

Where you find faith at its best/

Church is where you let God take control and let your soul rest/

Church is where you just appear and let God do the rest/

Where when oppressed/ all your troubles are addressed/

Church is where God stays, my heart will forever stay blessed!
